There are several interesting features with the Sony
Ericsson Satio, but the biggest is undoubtedly the digital
camera. Satio is almost certainly the best mobile camera on the
market right now. It has many exciting features and is nice - but
great.
Satio is a rather large mobile phone.Visually, it reminds a bit
of a complication rate of the camera. The part of the back where
the camera lens is thicker than the rest of the cell phone, which
is a result of pushing good optics in the camera.
Above the lens is a powerful lens cap that is easy to push aside
and protecting the camera in a good way.

Virtually everything is handled via the touch
screen. A number of buttons to facilitate the management
there is. On the front we find three narrow buttons to answer and
hang up, and to return to the main menu. The pages of the keylock
and a memory card slot, and zoom, playback, switching between the
camera and video, and stop button. It is worth noting in terms of
memory is that Sony Ericsson is actually made use of a
microSD card instead of its own Memory Stick.
Despite its size is Satio well in hand and it is nicely
designed. As with most other phones in this segment are
the following 20 seconds of usage fullsmetad of fingerprints. The
disadvantage with high-gloss black paint.
Digital camera impresses
Satio digital camera really stands out from the
crowd. The sensor is 12.1 megapixels, and in
addition to a fast autofocus, it also features face recognition
with leéndedetektor. The camera is also equipped with anti-shake
and lightning. In addition to these technical features, optics
unusually good to be a camera phone. Together generates this great
digital photos.
A fun feature is the Best Picture that
automatically takes ten pictures quickly one after another, and
then lets you choose the best picture. This came in handy when I
photographed our little son and pets - children and animals are
desperate to take pictures of. There is also the ability to shoot
panoramas.
With the help of so-called pektagning select
where the focus will end up by simply pointing to any object in the
picture. This places the focus point of the selected area.
The camera's software, Photo fix, you can
easily adjust brightness and contrast.Another software corrects red
eye, which can occur when shooting portraits with flash.

Satio can also record video clips with an accompanying
YouTube application lets you upload your videos
directly on the film site. This is something that is certainly of
interest to all of you who runs a video blog. For ordinary digital
photos are also functions for direct publishing on the Web via
Google Picasa. Blogs via Google Blogger, you can post your messages
via Satio.
The interface and Symbian
With Satio is the first time that Sony Ericsson uses the
operating system Symbian S60. This we have seen
earlier, the Nokia 5800. The differences in the interface is not
huge between the two cell phones, although in Satio has made about
the design a bit to feel more like a Sony Ericsson mobile.
I saw the interface as pretty. It was
relatively easy to understand, but in some areas it felt a little
messy. It was not always quite logical what to do. That said, it
would be overly difficult to learn to manage your mobile. New to
the Symbian earlier, please do not expect a learning curve.
The browser that came with, I can not help but
mention, for it was not funny. At all.The handsets from Sony
Ericsson that I've tried have been entitled shabby browser and this
is no exception. Non-existent features, poor support for Web
standards and tough as a syrup. Actually, this is not a major
problem because you can download as Opera Mobile instead.
Technical specifications
Putting aside the software does a very good surfing, thanks to
the LCD screen. It is 3.5 inches and has a resolution of 360 x 640
pixels. The sharpness is razor sharp. When you rotate the phone 90
degrees "dumps" screen, so you instead get a landscape picture.
To enter the URLs go smoothly with the onscreen keyboard, which
is much easier to use than a standard keypad. When you write text
messages and e-mail, you can use a full keyboard on the screen,
where the Swedish characters are represented.
You can connect via the 3G network or a
wireless WiFi network, if you are near one. This
feature I found very easy to use and worked fine.
Satio has built-in GPS that can either be used
with Google Maps or Wisepilot.
The test showed that they worked well for the uses you have a GPS
to.

Finally, the Satio works well with mobile
media. Facilities include a software Media
Go, which is developed by Sony Ericsson themselves, and
that allows you to organize your media films for transmission
between the mobile phone, PC and Playstation Portable (if you have
one). There is also a good YouTube player that lets you watch video
clips.
Sony Ericsson Satio costs about the same as a
decent laptop. It's pretty much money for a cell
phone, but it's still an expected price range. In conclusion, it is
a very good mobile phone, especially if you're looking to use
digital camera a lot and if you want to surf. There are lots of
features and capabilities, that will not fit to go through this. As
a tester, this has been a mobile I happily sat and played with in
many, many hours ...
